In this presentation, we will discuss the complexities of licensing AI-powered software and best practices for licensing professionals when negotiating master service agreements (MSAs), statements of work, and other license agreements that involve AI. We will also discuss insights from license disputes litigation and recommendations to proactively manage and mitigate risks.

Bryan J. Mechell is a trial lawyer in Robins Kaplan's Intellectual Property and Technology Group, where he focuses his practice on complex intellectual property litigation, particularly software, AI, and technology license disputes. With a background in computer science and physics, Bryan applies his litigation experience to help businesses audit, manage, and enforce AI and software license compliance.
