LES Michigan’s Intellectual Property and Licensing Symposium was an exciting exchange of new technologies impacting the automotive, medical devices, and investment markets, with focus on the role of IP in creating value for companies and opportunities for licensees and start-ups.
Expert panelists throughout the region provided their insights into transactions and their specific licensing and investment situations. The audience asked engaging and challenging questions, which provided excellent dialog and perspective on current challenges and issues facing the profession.

This event had, "some great panelists with insightful things to say, especially [the panelist] with over 2,000 deals under her belt!" exclaimed one impressed attendee. Another attendee reflected that, "the speakers all provided some great insights regarding licensing issues."
Licensing experts from General Motors, Stryker, Navistar, Invest Detroit, and Delphi generously gave their time and expertise to this successful panel event. Chapter co-Chair, Michael Fluhler, served as the panel moderator at this event. Afterwards he reflected, "We have a strong licensing community here, and the panel really reflected that."
