On November 3^rd, LES Toronto held its latest Lunch & Learn event.  The topic of the day was IP Valuation: Options for Determining Value in Today's Global Innovation Economy.  Our gracious speakers – Vimal Kotecha and Nikola Zivkovic, both valuation specialists at Richter Management (Toronto) – walked us through the various basic valuation techniques that can be applied to IP portfolios, with the help of easy-to-follow case studies.

The semi-formal presentation was followed by an engaging, freewheeling discussion of everything valuation.  It was a chance for our diverse group of attendees to gain a concrete understanding of the valuation process, when it is required or should be considered, and how to ensure that it is done well.
