Apologies to everyone. I wrote a summary of our very successful celebration of World IP Day on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 for LES Wisconsin. Somehow, a few clicks and it was lost.
Please see the pictures of our 12 start-ups and pre-start-ups on this site. (Obviously I am still learning how to post on this site.)
Special thanks to Brian Thompson and Jessica Silvaggi of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Tech Transfer Office who made it possible to have our Pitching Practice in an ideal spot: the Accelerator in Wauwatosa.
It was a positive, energetic event. The opposite of Shark Tank. No critics or judges allowed. Only positive advice offered in order to snag the attention and interest of a listener. It was practice after all. No slides. Conversation only. Be ready to shout out the key features and benefits of your business.
We look forward to repeating this in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay and everywhere we are invited to assemble and cheer the smart, inventive people in our State.
Hope to see more of you in the future.
The only thing that limits the participants is probably a max of about 12 pitches in any given event. All are welcome.
