Licensing Executives Society Announces Distinguished Board of Directors for 2020-2021 Term

Diverse Group of Intellectual Property and Licensing Leaders Representing
Organizations of All Sizes and Types Join Board

RESTON, Va. – Oct. 20, 2020 --The Licensing Executives Society (U.S.A. and Canada), Inc. (LES) has elected new members to its Board of Directors for 2020-2021. The additions extend the organization's broad leadership representation from the IP and licensing industry, ensuring that LES continues to engage and empower those involved in LES' intellectual property (IP) and standards communities while progressing toward its goals.

“Welcome to the new LES Board of Directors, a talented and diverse group of high character and motivated individuals with strong leadership skills and a vast array of experience in advancing the business of intellectual property. Their proven acumen will further allow LES to strategically move forward in delivering value to our membership, pursuing our key initiatives, and otherwise improving our membership experience and enhancing the brand of LES,” said outgoing LES President and Chair Gary Fedorochko.

As part of the Executive Committee's seamless leadership transition, Gillian Fenton, previously LES' president-elect, moves into the role of president and chair of LES. Director Scott Williams has been named president- and chair-elect, and Rachel Kreppel is continuing her role as counsel to the board.

I am committed to leading strategic and cultural changes to advance the LES vision and mission and lead the Society through the pandemic and associated economic sea change throughout the coming year," said Fenton.
