Federal Laboratories conduct critical research and development worth several billions of dollars and have cutting-edge facilities, technologies and expertise to address the nation's most critical problems in energy, environment, and national security. With its strong commitment to the fundamental sciences and its applications, these innovation factories produce large numbers of impactful technologies that could be readily adopted by industry.
