LES Webinar: Willful Infringement and the Injunction Presumption: eBay Reconsidered

The Licensing Executives Society is pleased to host this panel discussion on the elimination of the injunction presumption by the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in eBay v. MercExchange (2006) upon a finding of patent infringement. The impact of that decision on the patent system has been a profound one, including the notion of predatory or "efficient infringement," the patent-owner’s leverage (or lack thereof) and the innovation economy. Our distinguished panelists will offer diverse perspectives on these issues and discuss ways to better the patent system with a restoration of the injunction presumption at least in certain contexts, such as willful infringement.
