As the Supreme Court, Federal Circuit and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, under different leadership, have continued to be active in evolving patent practice, many have turned to Congress to step in too. Currently, there are a half-dozen pending bills before Congress which propose to narrow or expand patent rights. In this presentation, our panel will walk through the high level particulars of each bill to help LES members prepare for potential legislation and lobbying activities.
