The LES Vancouver Chapter was thrilled to welcome Russell Levine back to Vancouver for an “encore” presentation of the “Top 10 Court Decisions of 2016 Affecting Licensing” talk that he recently presented at the 2016 LES Annual Meeting in Vancouver.

Once again, Russell identified and discussed important U.S. court decisions of the past year affecting licensing. He also addressed the potential implications of those decisions on the drafting and negotiating of patent license agreements.

"Russell’s annual talk is always enjoyable and insightful, and this year was no exception," says Vancouver Past-Chair, Hilton Sue. "Russell engaged the crowd and started an interesting interactive discussion regarding whether Canadian courts might decide the same issues in the same or different way as their U.S. counterparts."

This engaging presentation and lunch event was highly popular and well attended. The Vancouver Chapter is hoping Russell will return to Vancouver for a similar talk next year.
